About the Position:

Cricket Media seeks a full-time Sales Director to research, cold call into, develop relationships, demo, meet with, design solutions, define objectives, articulate prospect/customer ROI/benefits, and most importantly close deals to CxO level Human Resources, Outreach, Management, Directors, or Corporate Social Responsibility executives.  Cricket Media’s eMentoring programs foster and support volunteer opportunities to link employees with children in under-resourced communities.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work from home; some travel required. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Vigorously research and identify prospects, create strategic account plans, develop a pipeline, and grow revenue for CricketTogether and other eMentoring solution sales.
  • Build, document, and manage a quantifiable sales pipeline; provide timely and accurate monthly forecasts; meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Make prospecting an integral part of the work routine, ensuring new prospects are being added to the sales funnel on an ongoing basis.
  • Work effectively with internal partners (e.g., legal, rights management, marketing, content production) as needed; collaborate with product and education teams to optimize new content for eMentoring pipeline.
  • Stay informed about current corporate social responsibility industry trends, and articulate the company’s unique position in the industry.
  • Research available markets and develop strategies for acquiring new customers.
  • Execute on these strategic account plans through active contact with new prospects.
  • Effectively use the Salesforce CRM tool to routinely enter all sales activity and opportunities.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
  • Prepare and deliver written presentations, reports, and partnership proposals; assist in contract negotiations.

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience engaging with and selling to Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility professionals and an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for children’s education or corporate social responsibility.  We seek direct, honest, logical thinkers with abundant energy and a desire for excellence and success.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience solution selling to Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, or Outreach into corporate, non-profit, or government markets.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions.
  • Dynamic, assertive, and energetic disposition that responds well to new challenges and opportunities; good balance of strategic and tactical analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and presentation skills; excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Ability to effectively negotiate contracts.
  • Work authorization in the United States (required I-9 verification)
  • Travel: up to 25%
