Cricket ABC is an engaging English learning environment that provides children ages 7–14+ with a truly immersive English experience, allowing them to independently explore the English-speaking world created by Cricket Media, Inc. All of the content in Cricket ABC is from Cricket magazines, and is transformed into engaging eBooks, audios, and videos. Children are invited to explore the content, and keep track of their progress through custom shelves and personalized reports. As one of the most popular children’s publishers globally, Cricket has more than 50 years of history, and has received the Gold Parent’s Choice Award. Cricket currently publishes nine magazines, based on age and learning interests, to motivate children’s learning and explore their interests.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, we’ll gather some quick information about your child (such as their reading interests, and their English proficiency level). This information is used to customize your child’s experience within the app and provide them with content recommendations that are just right for them! It takes less than 5 minutes to get started with Cricket ABC!

When you first launch the app, we will provide sample content for you and your child to review together. You’ll select which content is appropriate for your child, and we’ll use that to recommend a starting level. Our levels were carefully determined by language learning and education experts, utilizing the Lexile leveling system. At any time, your child can proceed through the levels of content, as defined below:

Each 7-day free trial includes full access to all of Cricket ABC’s content and functionality. The key features that are available during your free trial include:

• Our complete content library, searchable through filters and sorts
• Audio, Video, and eBook players with full controls
• Daily goals and recommendations
• Progress-tracking and easy access to saved items
• Sharable Learner Report
• Ability to switch instructional text between Chinese and English

There are five different types of subscriptions, which differ based on the duration of the subscription and whether it is billed automatically or manually. Each subscription includes access to the complete content library and all features and functionality.

• ¥18 – Monthly
• ¥25 – Monthly w/ Auto-Renew
• ¥51 – Quarterly
• ¥59 – Quarterly w/ Auto-Renew
• ¥199 – Annual

Refund Policy: There are no monetary refunds for any unused or canceled subscription. However, if you cancel a subscription, you will have full access to Cricket ABC until your expiration date. Additionally, if you upgrade from one subscription to another, any unused time from your original subscription will be added to the duration of your new subscription.

Cancellation of Auto-Renew Subscriptions: You may cancel any auto-renew subscription plan at any time by going to the payment processor you used (e.g., Apple Pay, WeChat Pay) and removing authorization for renewal. Detailed instructions are provided on the Cancel page, accessible in Settings > Subscription Management.
